Student Bio

Timothy Michael Conroy is currently in his 5th year at The Pennsylvania State University pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on construction management.  Timothy is on course to graduate in December of 2010 with his bachelors and masters degrees.  Timothy is currently a member in a number of organizations and honors societies.  A few of which are Phi Alpha Epsilon, Tau Beta Pi, Student Society for Architectural Engineers (SSAE), and the Student Chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (S:PACE).  In addition, Timothy has received three academic scholarships, two from Raytheon Systems and one from The Clark Construction Group.

Thus far, Timothy has participated in three summer internships with James G. Davis Construction Corporation, a well know general contractor in Rockville Maryland and Washington DC. During such internships Timothy has performed tasks ranging from reviewing submittals to managing the LEED accreditation for a $54 million base office building project in Southeast Washington DC. During the summer of 2009, Timothy had the privilege of performing all assistant project manager duties for a small project while assisting on a larger one simultaneously. Some of the task associated with the small project were developing a material procurement log, creating and managing the submittal register while actively archiving the approved submittals, contacting various subcontractors for contracting, scoping, material lead times, and submittal status. Timothy has played an integral part in a number of projects over the summers, mainly office buildings in the Washington DC area.
